The workshops "Bad Roads Well Built" are events, where automotive and construction engineers, test track operators, and junior engineers (employees and students of universities) meet to learn and discuss the newest developments on construction, maintenance, and operation of automotive test tracks.
The Workshop 2022 took place for the tenth time on February 18th, 2022 as a virtual event. As in recent years, the workshop was complemented by a (this year virtual again) study trip to a proving ground (Continental Proving Ground at Uvalde U.S.A.).
Announcement: The Workshop 2023 is planned for March 3th, 2023, either virtually or at TU Darmstadt (depending on the COVID situation), with a (perhaps virtual) study trip to a Proving Ground and a (perhaps virtual) meeting for dinner the day before.
